Live video lessons · From anywhere

Virtual dog training,
anywhere you are

Virtual dog training with KompK9 is a live video lesson with Zak, not a course library. You book a time, open the call on your phone or laptop, and train your dog in real time with a professional watching, coaching, and adjusting as you go.

Live, personal, and built around the dog in front of the camera: yours

Online dog training has a mixed reputation, and the prerecorded platforms earned it. Watching videos of someone else's dog is not coaching. Every KompK9 lesson is live, personal, and built around the dog in front of the camera: yours.

Simple on purpose

How a virtual lesson works

01

Book a time

Book a time online, and pay by Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.

02

Set up your space

Prop up your phone or laptop, grab your dog and some treats.

03

Train live

Zak watches your mechanics and your dog’s responses, coaches in the moment, and adjusts the plan as he sees how your dog works.

04

Finish with homework

Finish with homework and a clear next step, so progress continues between lessons.

The right goals

What virtual training works well for

Obedience basics, leash manner foundations, jumping, door manners, crate and potty routines, and coaching between in-person programs. Online puppy training is a standout use: early puppy work is mostly owner training, and that translates over video perfectly. Zak can help you plan the day itself, too: when to train, when to play, and when your puppy should settle in the crate for a nap.

Serious cases

Online dog training for aggressive dogs

Serious behavior cases can start online, and sometimes should. A video call is a safe, low stress way for Zak to see the behavior in its real environment, understand the triggers, and give you an immediate management plan while you decide on next steps. For owners in the Annapolis area, virtual sessions often lead into the Behavioral tier of Stay & Train. For owners farther away, virtual coaching can be the difference between a plan and no plan at all.

Questions

Virtual training FAQ

Yes, for the right goals, because dog training is mostly people training. Zak’s job is teaching you timing, mechanics, and structure, and a video call does that well. Hands-on work like off-leash e-collar training still belongs in person, and Zak will tell you plainly if your situation calls for that instead.

Ready to enjoy your dog again?

Tell Zak what is going on with your dog. A call, a text, or a short message all reach him directly. No pressure and no script, just an honest conversation about whether KompK9 is the right fit.
